  • Walking

    Start from the historic center of Florence, near the Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore). Walk northeast along Via dei Calzaiuoli until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From there, continue onto Via dei Neri. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Via dei Benci, which will take you towards the Arno River. Cross the river via the Ponte Vecchio. Once across, follow the road which becomes Lungarno Anna Frank. Continue on this road until you reach Piazzale Michelangelo. Instead of going up to the viewpoint, continue straight onto Viale Michelangelo. Follow Viale Michelangelo until you reach Viale dei Mille. Turn right, and continue walking until you arrive at Piazza della Libertà.
