If you are starting from the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), head east on Via dei Calzaiuoli toward Piazza della Signoria. Continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by the famous shops and cafes. When you reach Piazza della Signoria, you will see the stunning Palazzo Vecchio on your right and the Neptune Fountain in the center of the square.
Bus
If you are near the Santa Maria Novella train station, take bus number 1 in the direction of 'Piazza San Marco'. Get off at the 'Piazza della Signoria' stop, which is just a short walk from the square. Once you get off, head toward the large open space where you will see the statues and the iconic Palazzo Vecchio.
Taxi
If you prefer a taxi, you can find taxi stands outside major attractions like the Florence Cathedral or Santa Maria Novella train station. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Piazza della Signoria'. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes depending on traffic and will drop you off right at the entrance of the square.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, head towards Via dei Calzaiuoli and follow this road straight into the heart of Florence. After about 10 minutes, you will reach Piazza della Signoria. Make sure to park your bike at one of the designated bike stands located near the square.
