The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at San Gimignano, walk towards the town center, following signs for the Pieve di Santa Maria. The church is located about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop in the town.

Train and Bus

Take a train from Florence Santa Maria Novella station to Poggibonsi. This train runs frequently and the trip takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Poggibonsi, exit the train station and catch the SITA bus heading to San Gimignano. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop for San Gimignano and walk to the Pieve di Santa Maria, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.

Taxi
