If you are in the historic center of Florence, head towards Piazza della Signoria. From there, walk east towards Via dei Neri. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via dei Benci. Turn left onto Via dei Benci and then take a right onto Via Ghibellina. Follow this street until you reach Piazza di Santa Croce. The Tomb of Galileo Galilei is located at the Temple of the Italian Glories, which is on the eastern side of the piazza.

If you are farther away, you can take a bus. Find your nearest bus stop and board either bus line 14 or 23, heading towards 'Piazza di Santa Croce'. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Santa Croce'. Once you get off the bus, you will see the square. The Tomb of Galileo Galilei is situated within the Temple of the Italian Glories at the east side of the piazza.

If you are near the tram line, take the tram to 'Firenze Santa Maria Novella' station. From there, walk towards Via Panzani and proceed to Via dell'Indipendenza. Follow Via dell'Indipendenza until you reach Piazza della Libertà. From Piazza della Libertà, continue straight along Via Cavour, which will lead you directly to the historic center. As you approach Piazza di Santa Croce, you will find the Tomb of Galileo Galilei in the Temple of the Italian Glories.
