Walking
If you are already in the Duomo neighborhood, the Duomo Complex is within walking distance. Start by locating the iconic Florence Cathedral (Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore) at Piazza del Duomo. From any point in Duomo, head towards the cathedral, which is easily recognizable due to its massive dome. Once you reach the cathedral, the entrance to the Duomo Complex is located on the left side of the cathedral, at Via della Canonica, 1. Follow the signs for the museum and other attractions within the complex.
Public Transport
If you are coming from a nearby area in Florence, such as the Santa Maria Novella train station, you can take bus line C2 towards 'Piazze'. Disembark at the stop 'Piazza Duomo'. From there, head towards the Duomo Cathedral, which should be visible. The Duomo Complex is adjacent to the cathedral. Note that bus tickets can be purchased at vending machines or tobacco shops, costing around €1.50 for a single journey.
