Walking
If you are near the Florence Cathedral (Duomo di Firenze), simply head towards Piazza del Duomo. The Opera del Duomo Museum is located at Piazza del Duomo, 9, 50122 Firenze FI, right next to the cathedral. Once you reach the piazza, look for the large building with the sign for the museum. It is easily recognizable and should take no more than a few minutes to walk from the cathedral.
Public Transport (Bus)
Find the nearest bus stop and take any bus that heads towards the city center. Most buses in Florence will drop you off within walking distance of Piazza del Duomo. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs towards Piazza del Duomo. The museum is located at Piazza del Duomo, 9, and is a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking from Santa Maria Novella Station
If you are arriving at Santa Maria Novella train station, exit the station and head to the right towards Via Panzani. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. From there, turn left onto Via del Corso and continue until you reach Piazza del Duomo. The Opera del Duomo Museum is located at Piazza del Duomo, 9, right in front of you as you approach the cathedral.
Walking from Ponte Vecchio
If you are at the Ponte Vecchio, walk towards the Uffizi Gallery along the river. From the Uffizi, head towards Piazza della Signoria, then take Via dei Calzaiuoli straight to Piazza del Duomo. The museum is located at Piazza del Duomo, 9, just a short walk from the main square.
