Walking
If you are starting from the Florence Santa Maria Novella Train Station, exit the station and head towards Via Panzani. Follow this street as it becomes Via dei Cerretani. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza del Duomo. Along the way, you will pass by several shops and cafes. As you approach, you will see the dome of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore rising above the buildings.
Walking
From the Uffizi Gallery, exit the museum and head towards the Ponte Vecchio. Cross the bridge and then continue straight onto Via de' Tornabuoni. At the end of this street, turn left onto Via degli Strozzi, then take the first right onto Via del Corso. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Duomo, which will be on your right.
Walking
If you are at the Accademia Gallery, exit the gallery and turn left onto Via Ricasoli. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Piazza del Duomo. You will pass by several shops and can enjoy views of the surrounding architecture as you approach the square.
Public Transport
If you are starting from the outskirts of Florence, take the local bus (Line 1 or Line 7) towards the city center. Get off at the 'Duomo' stop. As you exit the bus, follow the signs pointing towards Piazza del Duomo. It will be just a short walk away, and you will see the magnificent cathedral as soon as you step off the bus.

From Piazza della Signoria, head east towards Via della Ninna. Turn left onto Via dei Neri and continue straight until you reach Via del Proconsolo. Turn right and continue straight; you will soon see the stunning facade of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore at Piazza del Duomo.
