Walking
If you're already in Oltrarno, the easiest way to reach Pitti Palace is by walking. Start at the Ponte Vecchio. From the bridge, head south along Via Guicciardini for about 5 minutes. You'll pass shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you reach Piazza de' Pitti, where the palace is located. The entrance is on your right.
Public Transport
If you are further away in Oltrarno, you can take a bus to reach Pitti Palace. Head to the nearest bus stop, which may be on Via dei Bardi or Via della Chiesa. Look for bus number C2, which will take you towards the center. Get off at the 'Piazza Pitti' stop. From there, it’s just a short walk to the entrance of the palace.
