Walking
If you are in the heart of Oltrarno, start by heading towards the famous Ponte Vecchio. Walk in the direction of the river and cross the bridge. Once you are across, continue straight on the other side until you reach Via de' Bardi. Turn left onto Via de' Bardi, and Giardino Bardini will be on your right at number 1. It’s a pleasant walk that should take approximately 15 minutes.
Public Transport
If you are further away in Oltrarno, you can take a bus to get closer. Look for the bus stop for Line 12 or 13, which operates frequently. Board the bus and ride it to 'Piazza della Passera.' After getting off, walk straight along Via de' Bardi for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Giardino Bardini at number 1. A single bus ticket costs around €1.50.
Taxi or Ride Sharing
For those who prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or a ride-sharing app. Simply provide the driver with the address: Via de' Bardi, 1, 50125 Firenze FI. Depending on your starting point within Oltrarno, this option may cost around €10-€15. It’s a quick and convenient way to reach the garden if you prefer not to walk.
Use Giardino Bardini as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
