If you are in the heart of Oltrarno, head towards Via de' Bardi. This street is easily accessible from various points in Oltrarno. Walk in the direction of the river, and you will reach the picturesque Ponte Santa Trinita bridge. Cross this bridge for beautiful views of the Arno River. After crossing, turn left onto Lungarno Acciaioli, a scenic riverside walk that will lead you directly to Ponte Vecchio. This route is approximately 15-20 minutes on foot.
Public Transport - Bus
If you prefer a quicker option, you can catch a bus from various stops in Oltrarno. Look for bus stops on Via dei Serragli or Via Romana. Take Bus Line 11 towards 'Piazza San Marco'. This ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Piazza della Repubblica' stop. From there, walk towards Via Roma, then take a right onto Via de' Tornabuoni, a well-known shopping street, which will lead you directly to Ponte Vecchio.
