    If you are driving, start by getting onto the A4 motorway from your location in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Follow the signs for Trieste and take the exit for 'Duino-Aurisina'. Continue on SP1 towards Duino. After about 9 km, you will arrive at Frazione Duino. The castle is located at Frazione Duino, 32, 34011 Duino Aurisina TS. Follow the signs for 'Castello di Duino'. There is parking available near the castle, but it may incur a small fee.

    If you are using public transportation, take a train from your nearest station to Trieste. The train service is frequent and takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at Trieste's main train station, transfer to the bus service (Bus Line 36) towards 'Duino'. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Duino' and follow the signs for 'Castello di Duino', which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
