    If you are driving, the Val Rosandra Nature Reserve is located approximately 10 km from Trieste. From Trieste, take the SS14 road towards the direction of San Dorligo della Valle. After about 7 km, turn left onto the SP1 road following the signs for San Dorligo della Valle. Continue on this road for about 3 km, and you will find the entrance to the reserve on your right. There is free parking available at the entrance.

From the Trieste Train Station, you can take bus number 39, which heads towards San Dorligo della Valle. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'San Dorligo della Valle' stop.
