    Walking

    From the central area of Herculaneum, head towards the main street, Corso Resina. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and continue walking until you reach the Herculaneum train station (Stazione di Ercolano). At the station, purchase a ticket for the SITA bus to Amalfi. Buses run regularly, so check the schedule for the next departure. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride along the coast, which should take about 1 hour. When you arrive in Amalfi, disembark at the main bus station, which is centrally located. From there, follow the signs towards the beach and town center, which are just a short walk away.

    Train and Bus

    Start at the Herculaneum train station (Stazione di Ercolano). Take a train to Salerno; trains depart frequently. Once you arrive in Salerno, exit the train station and find the SITA bus terminal directly outside. Purchase a ticket for the bus to Amalfi. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and offers stunning views of the coastline. Once you arrive in Amalfi, you can explore the town center, which is easily walkable from the bus drop-off point.
