Walking
From the center of Herculaneum, start at the Herculaneum Archaeological Park entrance. Head north on Via IV Novembre towards Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Resina. Turn left onto Corso Resina and walk until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station (Stazione di Ercolano). From here, take a train to Sorrento. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sorrento train station, exit and walk south on Corso Italia. Continue for about 400 meters until you reach Piazza Tasso. From the piazza, head towards Via Santa Maria della Pietà, which is located just a short walk away. The Cathedral of Saints Philip and James will be located at Via Santa Maria della Pietà, 44.

From Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via Roma. Take the EAV bus towards Sorrento. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sorrento, get off at the stop near Piazza Tasso. From there, walk south towards Corso Italia and then take a left on Via Santa Maria della Pietà. The Cathedral of Saints Philip and James is located at Via Santa Maria della Pietà, 44.
