Getting There

    If you are in the center of Herculaneum, start at the Herculaneum Archaeological Park entrance. Head northwest on Via Roma towards Viale Campania. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Via San Vito. Turn left onto Via San Vito and walk for another 200 meters until you reach the train station, Ercolano Scavi. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Pozzuoli stop. After exiting the station, turn right onto Via Napoli, then take the first left onto Via Serapide. The Macellum Temple of Serapis will be on your left at Via Serapide, 13.

    From the Herculaneum Archaeological Park, head to the nearest bus stop on Via Roma. Take the EAV bus line to Pozzuoli. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes.
