2-Day Amalfi Coast, Positano & Pompeii Overnight Tour from Rome
Enjoyable time on the Amalfi Coast.
Had a great time, with a mix of history at Pompeii, food and wine at the vineyard, laughter and some craziness on the Fiat ride, and great scenery on the Amalfi coast. Francesca was an excellent guide, and made the whole experience pleasant and enjoyable. I am very glad we did the tour. Go in late October if you can, the crowds are far smaller.

Pompeii,Herculaneum, Vesuvius Wine Tasting and Lunch from Salerno
Great Day Seeing The Wonders of Pompeii & Herculaneum
Vincenzo was a great tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable and navigated us seamlessly through both sites. We ended the day with lunch and wine at a very scenic winery. All of my group of 9 really enjoyed the tour.

Private Pompeii and Vesuvius Day Trip from Rome
An Amazing Day in Pompeii and Naples, Made Effortless by LivTours!
Our day trip to Pompeii and Naples was one of the highlights of our time in Italy. It was also one of the more logistically complicated excursions we took, but LivTours made the entire experience remarkably easy. This was our first time using the Italian rail system, and LivTours had someone meet us at the station in Rome, provide our tickets, and literally walk us to our seats. It was such a reassuring introduction that we ended up confidently using the trains on our own later in the trip. The train itself was fantastic: comfortable, convenient, and surprisingly easy! Lorenzo met us in Naples and was wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly proud of his city, he shared fascinating insights into Naples, its history, Mount Vesuvius, and the volcano’s broader impact on the region. He also took us to a waterfront pizza restaurant where he and his wife actually eat. It was a beautiful, relaxing lunch and, without exaggeration, the best pizza we’ve ever had. Neapolitan pizza completely lived up to the hype! Lorenzo encouraged us to explore Naples on foot, directing us toward Piazza del Plebiscito and the historic Gran Caffè Gambrinus, where we could relax after walking around. Those personal recommendations made us feel like we were experiencing a little of the real Naples rather than simply checking off tourist attractions. Pompeii itself was extraordinary and absolutely worth visiting. It’s understandably crowded and touristy, but our guide, Annalisa, worked hard to find us space and make the experience feel personal. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and did a wonderful job ensuring we saw the most important parts of the archaeological site without feeling overwhelmed by the crowds. The coordination between Annalisa and Lorenzo was seamless. Every handoff worked beautifully, and we never had to worry about where we needed to be or what came next. Lorenzo stayed with us throughout our time in Naples, from meeting us at the station to getting us safely back for our return train to Rome. What stood out about this experience was that LivTours didn’t just take us to Pompeii and Naples. They made the entire day easy, comfortable, and memorable while giving us a genuine introduction to the history, food, and culture of the region. What initially seemed like a complicated day trip turned out to be completely stress-free, thanks to the excellent coordination between everyone involved. Highly recommended!
