Walking
From the center of Herculaneum, head towards the Herculaneum Archaeological Park entrance. Exit the park and walk along Corso Resina, which becomes Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via delle Repubbliche Marinare. Turn right onto Via delle Repubbliche Marinare and follow the road until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station in Ercolano. Once there, purchase a ticket to Sorrento. After a short train ride, alight at Sorrento station. From the station, head towards the town center by following the signs. You will reach Piazza Angelina Lauro after about a 10-minute walk through the charming streets of Sorrento.

Start at Herculaneum, walk to the nearest Circumvesuviana train station. Purchase a ticket to Sorrento. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Sorrento station, exit and follow the signs directing you to the town center. Walk straight through the main square, then take Via degli Aranci which will lead you directly to Piazza Angelina Lauro. Look for the large square with shops and cafes; you’ll find the Piazza easily.
