Walking
From the Herculaneum archaeological site, exit through the main entrance and head east on Via Pugliano. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn right onto Via Roma and walk until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station (about 10 minutes). Take the train towards Naples and disembark at Napoli Garibaldi station (approximately 20 minutes). Once you exit the station, follow signs for Piazza Cavour, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head northeast on Via Domenico Cirillo, then turn left onto Corso Umberto I and continue until you reach Piazza Cavour.
Public Transport
From the Herculaneum archaeological site, make your way to the nearest bus stop on Via Pugliano. Take the local bus heading towards Torre del Greco. Disembark at the Ercolano Scavi stop, then walk to the Circumvesuviana train station (approximately 5 minutes). Take the train to Napoli Garibaldi station (around 20 minutes). Once you arrive at Napoli Garibaldi, follow the signs for the Metro Line 1 towards Piscinola and get off at the Museo station. From the Museo station, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Piazza Cavour. Exit the station and head southeast on Via Foria, then turn left onto Via Cavour to reach your destination.
