Walking
From the central area of Herculaneum, head south towards Via dei Pini. Walk straight until you reach Corso Garibaldi. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station. From there, take the train towards Sorrento. After about 25 minutes, get off at the Amalfi station. Once you exit the train station, follow the signs towards the bus stop for the SITA buses. Board the SITA bus towards Amalfi, which will take approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive in Amalfi, get off at the stop in Piazza Duomo. The Cathedral of St Andrew Apostle will be right in front of you.

From Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop on Corso Garibaldi. Board the EAV bus towards Amalfi. The journey will take about 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Amalfi, get off at the Piazza Duomo stop, and you will see the Cathedral of St Andrew Apostle directly ahead.

Train + Bus
Start at the Herculaneum train station and take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. After about 25 minutes, get off at the Salerno station. From Salerno, head to the bus terminal nearby and catch a SITA bus to Amalfi. This bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Amalfi, disembark at Piazza Duomo, where you will find the Cathedral of St Andrew Apostle.
