Walking
From the main train station in Herculaneum, head south on Via Roma towards Corso Resina. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Turn left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini and walk until you reach the main square, Piazza del Municipio. From there, look for the signs directing you to the ferry terminal. Once you reach the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket to Amalfi. After a scenic boat ride, you will arrive at the Amalfi port. Once you disembark, walk straight ahead towards the main street, Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi. Continue walking until you reach the Piazza Flavio Gioia, which is a central square in Amalfi.

Public Transport
From Herculaneum, walk to the Herculaneum Scavi train station. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Get off at the Meta station, then transfer to a SITA bus heading towards Amalfi. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Amalfi, get off at the main bus station. Walk straight towards the waterfront, and you will find Piazza Flavio Gioia just a short distance ahead on the right.

Ferry
First, make your way to the ferry terminal in Herculaneum, which is located near the waterfront. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Amalfi. The ferry ride offers stunning views of the coastline and takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Amalfi port, walk straight ahead towards the main street, Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi. Continue walking along this street, and you will find Piazza Flavio Gioia within a few minutes' walk.
