Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Herculaneum, head north on Via Roma towards the main square. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Nazionale. Turn right onto Via Nazionale and walk until you reach the train station, Ercolano Scavi. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Get off at the Ravello stop (the nearest train station is actually Scala, as Ravello does not have a train station). Once you arrive at Scala, follow the signs for Ravello. The hike to Ravello is steep, and will take approximately 30 minutes on foot. Upon reaching Ravello, follow the signs towards Piazza Duomo.

  • Bus

    From Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via Roma. Take the EAV Bus line 5070 towards Amalfi. Make sure to check the bus schedule as this service may not be frequent. Get off at the Ravello stop. Once you get off, follow the main road to Piazza Duomo, which should be a short 10-15 minute walk.
