From La Thuile, drive east on the SS26 road. Continue on the SS26 for approximately 18 kilometers until you reach the town of Saint-Nicolas. Follow signs for local roads leading to Lago di Joux. The lake is located about 7 kilometers from the town center, with a scenic drive through the Aosta Valley. Parking is available near the lake.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from La Thuile to Aosta (approximately 30 minutes). From Aosta, transfer to a bus heading towards Saint-Nicolas. Check the local bus schedules for the latest times, as they may vary. Once in Saint-Nicolas, you can either walk the remaining 7 kilometers to Lago di Joux or check if local taxi services are available for hire to reach the lake.
