Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Molo Riva Grande in Varenna, make your way to the SS340 road. From the town of Como, take the SS340 along the western shore of Lake Como. Follow the signs for Varenna. Upon arriving in Varenna, look for parking signs as there are several parking areas near the waterfront. Once parked, head towards the lakefront, and you will find Molo Riva Grande just a short walk away.

• Train

  To reach Molo Riva Grande by train, take a train from Milan to Varenna-Esino station. Trains run regularly from Milano Centrale. Once you arrive at Varenna-Esino station, exit the station and follow the signs to the ferry terminal. It’s about a 15-minute walk downhill; just go straight and follow the signs to the lake. Upon reaching the waterfront, Molo Riva Grande will be right there.

• Ferry

  If you're already on Lake Como and want to take a ferry to Molo Riva Grande, you can board a ferry from towns like Bellagio or Menaggio. Make sure to check the ferry schedule as it varies by season. Once you disembark at Varenna, follow the signs to the waterfront area, and Molo Riva Grande is easily accessible from the ferry dock.

• Bus

  To reach Varenna by bus, you can take a bus from Lecco or other nearby towns. The bus stops are usually close to the lakefront. After arriving in Varenna, head towards the lake, following the signs. Molo Riva Grande is located along the waterfront, just a short walk from the bus stop.
