Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from your location in Lake Como and head towards Varenna via the SP72 road. Follow the signs towards Varenna, which is approximately a 30-minute drive depending on your starting point. Once you arrive in Varenna, look for parking options. There are public parking lots available such as the 'Parcheggio Varenna' which charges a fee (around €1 per hour). After parking, walk towards Largo Enzo Venini, where La Passeggiata Degli Innamorati is located. The walk from the parking area to the promenade is about 10 minutes.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take the train from your nearest station (e.g., Como or Lecco) towards Varenna-Esino station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 1 hour from Como. Once you arrive at Varenna-Esino station, exit the station and follow the signs to the ferry terminal. It’s a scenic 20-minute walk downhill towards the lakeside. After reaching the ferry terminal, you can walk to Largo Enzo Venini, where La Passeggiata Degli Innamorati is located, which is a short 5-minute stroll from the terminal.

• Ferry

  If you prefer to travel by ferry, you can take a ferry from other towns around Lake Como such as Bellagio or Menaggio. The ferry service operates regularly and offers stunning views of the lake. Once you arrive at Varenna ferry terminal, it's a short 5-minute walk to Largo Enzo Venini. Simply follow the signs that direct you towards the town center, and you will find the promenade easily.
