The bench itself is a vibrant fuchsia and orange, standing out against the green landscape. It offers an incredible vantage point over the rolling hills and lush vineyards of the Piedmont region. The oversized scale creates a unique perspective, making visitors feel like children again, able to be amazed by the beauty of nature. The Big Bench Community Project is a non-profit initiative that supports local enterprise, tourism, and craftsmanship in the towns that host these installations. There are over 400 of these benches. Panchina Gigante #50 was installed on land owned by Giovanni Turco, near the church of San Lorenzo. Monastero di Vasco itself is a charming locale in the Piedmont region, known for its serene landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The town has ancient origins, with the name deriving from the union of the settlement of Vasco and the Benedictine monastery founded in 998.
