If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any major point in Lazio. Use the A1 motorway (Autostrada del Sole) and follow the signs to Rome. Once you reach the city, take the exit for 'Roma Centro' and follow the signs towards the Colosseum. Parking is limited in the area, but you can find paid parking lots nearby. The nearest parking is at 'Parcheggio Colosseo', located at Via della Madonna dei Monti, which is approximately a 10-minute walk to Domus Aurea.

Public Transportation - Metro

Take the Metro Line B (Blue Line) and get off at the 'Colosseo' station. From there, exit the station and head towards Via della Domus Aurea, which is about a 5-minute walk. As you exit, you will see the Colosseum; Domus Aurea is located just a short distance behind it at Via della Domus Aurea, 00184 Roma RM.

Public Transportation - Bus

If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take bus number 75, 81, or 673 to 'Colosseo' stop. After getting off, walk towards the Colosseum, and then head to Via della Domus Aurea, which is located just behind the Colosseum. It will take approximately 5-10 minutes to walk to Domus Aurea from the bus stop.

If you are already in the vicinity of the Colosseum, simply walk to Via della Domus Aurea. It is located just behind the Colosseum, making it a pleasant walk through the historic center of Rome. Look for signs directing you to Domus Aurea.
