The Antico Lavatoio will be on your left. The bus ticket costs €1.70. The funicular ticket is included in the bus ticket.

A long, white marble basin is divided into sections, originally intended to accommodate multiple users simultaneously. An elegant cast-iron cover and sheet metal plates complete the structure. The washhouse also featured a water adduction system, an overflow drain, and a gutter to efficiently manage water during the washing process.In the late 19th century, Bergamo faced challenges with water quality and sanitation, leading to health concerns such as cholera and typhus.
