Walking
If you are near the Lucca Cathedral (Cattedrale di San Martino), walk south on Via Roma towards Piazza San Martino. Continue straight until you reach Piazza San Francesco. From there, head west on Via San Francesco, and then turn right onto Via delle Mura Urbane. Continue walking until you reach Piazzale Giuseppe Verdi. The Museo della Zecca will be located at Casermetta San Donato, just off the piazzale.

Starting from the Lucca Train Station, exit and turn left onto Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi. Walk straight until you reach the city walls. Enter the walls at the nearest gate and follow the path along the walls heading west. After a short walk, you will arrive at Piazzale Giuseppe Verdi. The Museo della Zecca is located at Casermetta San Donato, just off the piazzale.
