Car
The most convenient way to reach Teatro del Silenzio is by car. From Pisa or Florence, take the Superstrada FI-PI-LI highway and exit at Pontedera or Pontedera/Ponsacco. Then, follow the Strada Statale 439 Sarzanese Valdera towards Lajatico. On concert days, follow signs to designated parking areas like Poggio al Lupo or La Sterza. A free shuttle service is usually available from La Sterza to the theater entrance.
Taxi
Taxis can be hired from Pisa directly to Teatro del Silenzio. The journey takes approximately 40-50 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure the driver has the full address: Via dell'Uccelliera, 56030 Lajatico PI. Expect to pay around €6-€8 for a taxi from Lajatico to Teatro del Silenzio.
Public Transport
From Florence, take a train to Pontedera-Casciana Terme. From Pontedera, take a bus towards Lajatico, getting off at Lajatico V. Le Fonti. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to Teatro del Silenzio, following signs. Bus tickets from Pontedera to Lajatico cost approximately €2-€4.
