If you are in the center of Lucca, start at Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. From the square, head towards Via Fillungo, the main shopping street. Walk straight along Via Fillungo until you reach the end where it intersects with Via Santa Croce. Turn left on Via Santa Croce and continue straight until you reach the large gate, Porta San Donato. The entrance to Mura di Lucca is just beyond this gate, along Via delle Mura Urbane.

At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Viale della Repubblica, continuing straight until you reach Porta San Donato. Once you arrive at Porta San Donato, follow the path along Via delle Mura Urbane to access Mura di Lucca.
