    If you are starting from Lucca's main train station (Stazione di Lucca), exit the station and walk straight along Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the city walls. Once you arrive at the walls, walk along the ramparts for a scenic view of the city. Exit the walls at the Porta San Pietro gate and turn left onto Via San Paolino. Follow this street until you reach Piazza San Michele, a bustling square in the heart of Lucca. From here, head towards the Via Fillungo, the main shopping street, and continue straight until you reach Via degli Asili. Turn right onto Via degli Asili, and you will find Palazzo Pfanner on your left at number 33.

    From the central bus station, take bus number 5 towards 'Pieve di Compito'. Get off at the stop 'Piazza San Michele'. Once you arrive, head towards Via Fillungo, the main shopping street. Walk straight along Via Fillungo until you reach Via degli Asili. Turn right onto Via degli Asili, and Palazzo Pfanner will be on your left at number 33.
