    Walking

    If you are starting from the Lucca Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the city walls. Once you reach the walls, turn right and follow the path along the walls for about 500 meters. You will eventually see Porta Elisa on your left, at the end of the walls.

    From Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, head towards Via Fillungo, the main shopping street. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street and take a left onto Via San Paolino. Keep walking straight until you reach the city walls. Turn right and follow the walls for about 600 meters until you reach Porta Elisa on your left.

    Starting from the Basilica di San Frediano, exit the basilica and head towards Via dell'Anfiteatro. Walk straight until you reach the main street, then turn left onto Via Fillungo. Continue straight until you reach the city walls, then turn right. Follow the walls for about 600 meters, and Porta Elisa will be on your left.
