    If you are starting from the Lucca Cathedral (Cattedrale di San Martino), head east on Via della Chiesa toward Piazza San Martino. Turn right onto Via Fillungo, which is the main shopping street. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn left onto Viale Giuseppe Mazzini. Walk straight until you reach the city walls. Here, you can enter the walls through one of the gates (e.g., Porta San Pietro). Once inside, follow the path along the walls until you see the signs for Viale delle Mura Urbane. Continue walking until you reach Saint Regolo Bulwark, located at Viale delle Mura Urbane, 1.

    From the Lucca Train Station (Stazione di Lucca), exit and head to the bus stop outside the station. Take the local bus that goes towards the city center (look for buses marked 'Centro'). Get off at the stop 'Piazza San Francesco'.
