From Lucca's city center, head towards the main entrance of the Lucca Train Station (Stazione di Lucca). Once there, take a train to Pisa Centrale. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Pisa Centrale, exit the station and follow the signs towards the bus terminal. From the bus terminal, you can catch a local bus or take a short walk to San Francesco. If walking, exit the station, head straight on Via Giuseppe Mazzini, and continue until you reach the Piazza dei Miracoli, where San Francesco is located.

Begin your journey at Lucca's city center and walk to the Lucca Train Station (Stazione di Lucca). Board a train heading towards Pisa Centrale. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Pisa Centrale, transfer to a local bus (Line LAM Rossa) that goes towards the center of Pisa. Get off at the stop 'San Francesco.' From there, it's a short walk to the San Francesco site.
