    If you are near the Lucca's city walls, start at the 'Porta San Pietro' entrance. Head south towards the city center. Continue straight on Via San Pietro until you reach Piazza San Giusto. From there, take Via Sant'Andrea on your left. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Via Fillungo. Turn right onto Via Fillungo, which is the main shopping street in Lucca. Continue on Via Fillungo until you reach Piazza San Frediano. The Basilica will be on your right, prominently located in the square.
