If you are in the main square of Matera, Piazza Vittorio Veneto, start by heading southwest on Via del Corso. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and continue for about 300 meters. You will pass by several shops and cafes. When you reach the end of Via Roma, turn right onto Via XX Settembre. Continue on this street for about 200 meters, and you will arrive at Recinto XX Settembre, where Ipogeo MateraSum is located on your right.

From any central location in Matera, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Take Line 1 or Line 2 towards 'Matera Centro' and get off at the stop 'Via Roma'. At the end of Via Roma, turn right onto Via XX Settembre, and after about 200 meters, you will see Ipogeo MateraSum on your right.
