Walking
From Piazza Vecchia in Città Alta, walk northeast along Via Colleoni, then turn right onto Via Bartolomeo Colleoni. Continue onto Piazzale Mascheroni, then turn left onto Viale delle Mura. Follow the road until you reach Piazzale Brigata Legnano, where the Rocca is located. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. There are no costs involved.
Public Transport
From the Bergamo train station, take bus number 1 to Città Alta. Get off at the Colle Aperto stop. From there, walk along Viale delle Mura to Piazzale Brigata Legnano, where the Rocca is located. The walk from the bus stop takes approximately 10 minutes. A single bus ticket costs €1.50.
Taxi
From Bergamo train station, a taxi to Rocca di Bergamo will cost approximately €15-€20, depending on traffic. The journey takes around 15 minutes. Taxis are readily available at the train station.
