From the center of Formigine, the Castello di Formigine is easily accessible on foot. From Piazza Italia, walk north along Via Roma, then turn left onto Piazza Calcagnini. The castle entrance will be directly ahead. The walk is short and straightforward, taking only a few minutes.

Public Transport
From Modena, take the Modena-Sassuolo train to Formigine station. From the station, walk north on Via Vittorio Veneto, then turn right onto Via Roma. Continue onto Piazza Calcagnini. The castle will be on your left. A bus (route 800, BUS, or 670) can also be taken to Formigine. A single bus ticket costs around €1.50.

From Modena, follow the SS12 (Via Giardini) towards Formigine. As you enter Formigine, follow signs for the town center. Parking is available in Piazza Ravera (free for coaches and campers, except Saturdays during market hours), Piazza Caduti per la Libertà, and Via Pio Donati (both without parking disk). Parking with a parking disk is available in Piazza Pietro Arnò, Piazza Italia, and along Via San Francesco, Via Gramsci and Via Zanfrognini. A new underground parking lot with 125 spaces is located on Via Pascoli and is free. Parking fees vary, but expect to pay around €1-2 per hour.
