Discover more about Fiorano circuit

The Fiorano Circuit, or Pista di Fiorano, is more than just a racetrack; it's the heart of Ferrari's innovation and performance. Built in 1972, under the direction of Enzo Ferrari, the 3-kilometer track is a crucial element in the development of Ferrari's Formula 1 cars, GT models, and road cars. Designed by Ugo Cavazzuti, the track incorporates elements from some of the most challenging corners of famous F1 circuits, such as the Tarzan corner from Zandvoort, the Brünnchen jump from the Nürburgring, and La Rascasse from Monaco. This allows Ferrari to simulate a wide variety of track conditions and fine-tune their vehicles accordingly. The circuit is equipped with advanced telemetry systems and a skidpad for tire testing, and in 2001, an irrigation system was installed to simulate wet conditions. While the track is primarily private, a shuttle service from the Ferrari Museum in nearby Maranello offers a panoramic tour, allowing visitors a glimpse into this exclusive world. At the entrance of the circuit stands a statue commemorating Gilles Villeneuve, a celebrated Ferrari driver. The Fiorano Circuit remains a vital part of Ferrari's legacy, embodying the pursuit of excellence and innovation that defines the brand.
