Walking
If you are starting from the Modena Cathedral (Duomo di Modena), head east on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II towards Via Emilia. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via Emilia in direzione San Pietro. Turn left onto Via Emilia and walk for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Once you reach the Piazza della Libertà, continue straight until you reach the end of the square and turn right onto Via Canalino. This road will lead you to the Modena Train Station.

From Modena Train Station, exit onto Viale Martiri della Libertà and turn left. Head straight for about 200 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Viale della Repubblica and continue walking. After around 15 minutes, you will reach the historic center of Bologna. From here, follow the signs to Piazza del Nettuno, which is located nearby. The fountain is situated in the center of the square, and you can't miss it!

From Modena, take a regional train towards Bologna Centrale. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bologna Centrale, exit the station and follow the signs for the city center. Walk straight on Via dell'Indipendenza for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at Piazza del Nettuno. The fountain is prominently located in the square, making it an easy find.
