Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Modena's train station, exit the station and head towards Viale Vittorio Veneto. Walk straight along Viale Vittorio Veneto for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Viale Martiri della Libertà. Continue walking straight for another 600 meters until you reach Piazza Roma. From Piazza Roma, turn left onto Via Emilia Centro and walk for about 200 meters. You will see Piazza Grande on your right.

    From Modena's train station, take bus number 7 or 9 towards 'Viale delle Rimembranze'. The bus will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Piazza Matteotti' stop. From there, walk straight down Via Emilia Centro for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Piazza Grande, which will be on your right.
