Walking
If you are starting from the Modena Cathedral (Duomo di Modena), head east on Via Emilia towards Corso Canalgrande. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Farini. Turn left onto Via Farini and walk until you reach Piazza della Libertà. From there, head northwest on Via Giacomo Matteotti until you reach Largo San Giacomo, which will be on your right. The total walking distance is approximately 1.2 kilometers and should take around 15 minutes.
Public Transport - Bus
If you are near the Modena Railway Station (Stazione di Modena), take bus line 5 towards 'Università' and get off at the stop 'Viale Storchi'. From the bus stop, walk south along Viale Storchi, which continues as Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, until you reach Largo San Giacomo. This journey will take about 20 minutes, including the bus ride and walking.
Walking from Parco della Libertà
If you are near Parco della Libertà, exit the park towards Via Giardini and turn right. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Viale Vittorio Veneto. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Via Emilia. Cross the street and continue straight; Largo San Giacomo will be a short walk ahead on your left. The total distance is around 1 kilometer, which should take about 12 minutes.
