If you're at the Modena Central Station (Stazione di Modena), exit the station and head southeast on Viale della Libertà. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Emilia. Turn left onto Via Emilia and walk for about 15 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. When you reach Piazza Grande, continue straight onto Via Sant'Agostino. The Galleria Estense is located in the Palazzo dei Musei, which will be on your left at Largo Porta Sant'Agostino, 337.

From Modena Central Station, take bus line 2 from the bus stop outside the station. Stay on the bus for 5 stops and get off at the stop named 'Piazza Roma'. From there, walk straight towards Via Emilia and turn left. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza Grande. From Piazza Grande, walk onto Via Sant'Agostino, and the Galleria Estense will be located in the Palazzo dei Musei at Largo Porta Sant'Agostino, 337.
