It features a network of trails stretching approximately 16 km, along with a 10 km cross-country skiing ring. The slopes, catering to different skill levels, ascend Cappelletta Mountain, Colle Cascina, and Colle Saliere. However, the ski resort has been temporarily closed in the past due to earthquakes. The area is also part of the European Path E1, a long-distance trail that spans from the North Cape to Sicily. Forca Canapine also offers cultural attractions, including the Church of Our Lady of Carmelo, located near Capodacqua. Built in the 1960s, the church features a simple design with travertine blocks and a modest belfry. Inside, a single hall with a rectangular apse is illuminated by stained-glass windows. Thanks to its high altitude and minimal light pollution, Forca Canapine is a popular spot for stargazing. Amateur astronomers and astrophotographers gather to enjoy the spectacle of the night sky.
