Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the main square of Montepulciano, Piazza Grande, head east towards Via delle Scuole. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Teatro. Turn left onto Via del Teatro, and walk for about 200 meters. You will find Contucci at Via del Teatro, 1 on your right. Look for the sign indicating the winery.

    If you are near the Church of San Biagio, exit the church and turn left. Walk down Via San Biagio until it merges into Via delle Lettere. Continue straight until you reach a T-junction with Via del Teatro. Turn left onto Via del Teatro, and Contucci will be located about 300 meters ahead on your left.

    From the Montepulciano train station, exit and walk towards the bus stop. Take the bus to the town center (Piazza Grande). Once you arrive at Piazza Grande, follow the directions provided for walking from there. Alternatively, you can walk uphill from the train station to the town center, which takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
