Start at the Montepulciano train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, Via della Stazione. Follow the signs that direct you to the town center (Centro Storico). This will lead you to Via Gracciano nel Corso. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Gracciano. Here, take a left onto Via di Gracciano. Walk along this road until you reach the main square, Piazza Grande. The Cathedral Saint Mary Of The Assumption will be located at the northern end of Piazza Grande, easily visible.

If you are starting from the Montepulciano Fortress (Fortezza di Montepulciano), exit the fortress and head down Via delle Lettere. This road will lead you directly to Piazza Grande. As you approach the square, the Cathedral will be on your left side, situated prominently in the square.

From the main bus station (Piazza della Libertà), head towards Via Ricci. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Gracciano. Turn right onto Via di Gracciano and follow this road to Piazza Grande. The Cathedral Saint Mary Of The Assumption is located at the end of the square, easily accessible.
