From the port area (Marina Piccola), you can take the steps or a winding road up to Piazza Tasso. Alternatively, the EAV D line bus or the Cooperativa Tasso minibus runs between Piazza Tasso and Marina Grande; tickets cost €1.20. Walking from the main hotels in the center usually takes no more than 5-10 minutes.

Piazza Torquato Tasso is a central bus hub in Sorrento. Several EAV bus lines connect the square with nearby towns and beaches on the Sorrento Peninsula. The orange town buses (EAV) stop at Piazza Tasso. If arriving by ferry from Naples, take the EAV D line bus or the Cooperativa Tasso minibus from Marina Piccola to Piazza Tasso for €1.20. The Circumvesuviana train connects Sorrento to Naples; from the train station, Piazza Tasso is a 10-minute walk down Corso Italia.
