Walking
If you are in the heart of Chiaia, start walking towards the seafront along the Via dei Mille or Via Chiaia. Continue along Via Chiaia until you reach the junction with Riviera di Chiaia. Turn left onto Riviera di Chiaia. The museum will be located on your left side at number 200. It is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your starting point.
Public Transportation - Bus
You can take the bus line 151 or 140 from various points in Chiaia. Look for the nearest bus stop serving these lines. Board the bus and travel towards the Riviera di Chiaia. Get off at the 'S. Pasquale' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk. Head towards the seafront, turn left onto Riviera di Chiaia, and continue until you reach number 200.
Funicular
If you are near the Chiaia area, you can take the Funicolare di Chiaia (Chiaia Funicular) to the top of the hill. After exiting the funicular, walk down Via del Parco Margherita until you reach the intersection with Riviera di Chiaia. Turn right and walk straight until you reach Museo Pignatelli at number 200. The funicular ride costs approximately €1.10.
Taxi or Ride-sharing
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber. Simply input 'Museo Pignatelli' or 'Riviera di Chiaia, 200' as your destination. The cost will vary depending on your exact starting location, but expect to pay around €10-15 for a short trip within Chiaia.
