You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. As you approach the end of the street, watch for the large archway that marks the entrance to Ponte di Chiaia. The bridge is directly visible as you near the waterfront.

To reach Ponte di Chiaia using public transport, find the nearest bus stop on Via Chiaia. Take bus line 140 towards 'Mergellina'. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Sannazaro'. From there, walk straight down Via Chiaia, which will take you directly to the Ponte di Chiaia, approximately a 5-minute walk. A single bus ticket costs €1.10 and is valid for 90 minutes.
