You can take the Chiaia Funicular from Via Partenope. Board the funicular and ride it to the top station (Montesanto). Once you disembark, follow the signs towards Via Toledo. Walk down Via Toledo until you reach Piazza dei Martiri, then continue straight to Via Roma and finally to Piazza della Repubblica. The monument will be on your left. Note that a single ride on the funicular costs approximately €1.10.
